Sharon Gal
Sharon Gal is an interdisciplinary artist, performer & vocalist specialising in free improvisation, experimental participatory large group compositions.
Her practice explores listening, presence, embodiment, and the relationship between people, sound and space.
Sharon performs solo and in collaborations with: David Toop, John Edwards, John Butcher, Yoni Silver, Sue Lynch, Christian Duka, Edwin Pouncey, Anat Ben David and Lina Lapelyte.
Her music has been released by many labels, including five solo albums & various collaborations.
Past performances include The V&A, ICA, The Science Museum, Tate Modern & Tate Britain, MACBA, and Colour Out of Space, Borealis, Supernormal, Supersonic, TUSK and Tectonics festivals.
ETUDES, her deck of 78 cards, a collection of text and colour scores, was published in 2021.
Sharon runs Healing Choir, a community gathering and a space for people to come together through vocalisation, listening, breath-work and gentle movement.
