Mitch Heinrich

Mitch Heinrich is an avant-garde classical and experimental artist whose work blends expressive vocal performance with free improvisation. Collaborating with instrumentalists on releases like the album Elation, Heinrich creates minimalist, textually rich contemporary chamber music. The sound explores unconventional vocal techniques paired with sparse violin and double bass arrangements.

As well as being a vocal improviser, Mitch is a published author of Dada poetry with readings of this material becoming an important feature of this trio’s performance.
