Mark Wastell is a versatile improvising musician who has played a central role in the British improvised music scene for over a quarter of a century.
London based saxophonist Colin Webster is quickly establishing himself on the European avant garde scene. Collaborating with some of the key figures in improvised and experimental music, Webster is known for working from extreme sonic palettes – from minimal to maximal, constantly pushing boundaries.
Veryan Weston is best-known for his work with such British musicians as saxophonist Lol Coxhill, vocalist Phil Minton and Trevor Watts who he is still working with in the ‘Dialogues’ duo as well as their current trio – ‘Eternal Triangle’ having recently released two CDs - “Gravity” and in Netherlands “Moving On”.

Stuart Wilding is an improvising percussionist, playing a mixture of junk percussion, lap harp and cello. He is active in several current collaborations: Ghost Mind, Longstone, Lo-fi Ensemble, Mike Adcock duo, Pete Robson duo, Professori Sognare, Madrona, the Cheltenham Improvisers Orchestra and Chris Cundy’s Speed Hobby. He currently runs the Lo-fi Improvised music Workshops in Camberwell. In the past he has worked in a number of smaller improvising ensembles and with the Flying Down Trio, Hither Green Drone Orchestra and Makeshift. He was also a performer and musician with the Hand in Glove Performance Group.
Alan Wilkinson has for many years been a leading figure in the British Improvised Music Community. His reputation of a full blast, take no prisoners approach was cast in the Leeds based trio Hession/Wilkinson/Fell. Based in London since 1990 his current groups include a long standing trio with John Edwards and Steve Noble, the quartet The Founder Effect with John Coxon, Pat Thomas and Noble, and many collaborations past and present with among others Derek Bailey, Peter Brötzmann, Thurston Moore, J.Spaceman, Chris Corsano, Konstrukt and Talibam!
