Benedict Taylor is a leading figure within contemporary composition, modern string performance and improvised music in the British and European new music world. The central focus of his work is in new composition for live performance, film, theatre, contemporary dance, art installation and electro-acoustic composition. In performance, he predominantly works within improvisation, new composition and 20th/21st century music.
Daniel Thompson was born in Norfolk, England. Largely self-taught, after moving to London in 2005 Daniel embarked upon a life changing period. He studied with the guitarist John Russell for two years, spent many evenings listening to the trio of John Edwards, Tony Marsh and Evan Parker at The Vortex in East London and absorbed the free improvisation scene in and around LONDON. collectively this confirmed his musical direction.

Roger Turner has been working as an improvising percussionist since the early 1970’s, collaborating in numerous established and ad hoc configurations.

Mike Walter has a substantial track record as an improvising musician, playing tenor and soprano saxophones and synthesizer with bands such as Grassy Noel & APE, One King Poets and countless others, especially a long-standing duo with much-missed Lol Coxhill, with whom he recorded the original MOUTH CD in 1999.
Alex Ward is a composer, improviser and performing musician (primarily on clarinet and guitar) based in London. He leads various ensembles under the heading of the Item Series to perform his compositions for improvising musicians, and he is a member of many other groups including legendary rock band Pere Ubu.
